What is Interactivity?
By definition, the things people do on computers have always been interactive. Computers and software are tools, and their purpose is to help people interact with words, numbers, pictures videos and animations.
- Be able to analyse a visual-based problem in creative media production.
Emerging media trends indicate that content creators and major developers are thinking past content that’s merely engaging.
Instead, they’re moving toward content that users can actually engage with.
By pulling viewers into the experience and allowing them to actively participate in the content, users receive a more personalized experience while producers enjoy a more active and dedicated audience.
Brief –
Your Awarding Body have requested that learners present their Final Major Project in the form of an Interactive Solution where Files, Images and Videos can be presented for assessment purposes. This will be used by your tutors and possibly an external moderator.
1.1 Analyse the requirements and parameters of an interactive-based problem in creative media production.
Discuss what is needed and what possible solutions there might be.

Define the product and audience, organise content into a visual – Plan the content. (Flow Chart)

The problems examiners face is that, the moderators are working from home and a website needs to organised website so everything is easy to find. Moderators do not want to be digging through your website to mark something. This will become difficult for them if it wasn’t well organised.
Interaction Design: How should it work
Design the Navigation, types of interaction and controls – map to a story board. (Storyboard) – Gannt Chart
Task: Describe the navigation that you want to use on your website
Research, practical work, project proposal, journal and Final photos will be in different menus and will have sub menus underneath so it is not all cramped into one.
Presentation Design: How it should look
Define the style and layout of the elements in the storyboard and produce a prototype
My website will look a lot like the wireframe I have made. I will also have side headings in H3 or H4 and will have side menus under most of main headings.

Critical Tasks of Information Design
- Define the goals for the product – To present all the criteria and clear navigation
- Define what the audience wants to do – The audience wants an easy access via online that is clearly navigated, using menus and sub menus in a logical sequence.
- Decide how the product will reach its audience – This project will be Available online in my website
- Choose the authoring tool – I will be Using WordPress, adobe, Miro and lightroom for my FMP
- Create a content inventory list – Evolution, Photo gallery
- Create a Project Plan – I will create Miro plan to organise my time efficiently and will add to it when needed.
- Organise the content – I will create a Wire frame to make sure everything in the right place for the moderators.
- Create a Prototype
Understand the contexts within which creative media technology and production are positioned.

This is the Wireframe for my FMP, This will give me an idea of what my website will look like but I won’t be following it completely.

My new FMP Website
This is what my new FMP website looks like, with menus, visuals and also how theme I have chosen.
The colours in the middle image are a mix of Dark and bright, she’s wearing a black and red dress with fruit and veg around her. This brings in a lot of colours into the image. This image represents gluttony. The image to the left shows a model putting a gold and white necklace in their mouth. Their face and hands are dripping wet. This represents Greed, it shows they want it all to theirselves. The right image shows someone looking into a broken, shattered mirror. The mirror is very elegant with detail surrounding it. The image is very faded, while the image is also in greyscale.
In the left image, they are proudly putting a crown on with gold jewellery surrounding them as well as on their neck and arms. This image represents Greed as they have all this jewellery around them. In the middle image, There is a bright red light around the room they are sitting in. They’re sitting on a chair turning away from the camera, pulling on their tight dress. The red reprensets lust as well as tight clothes and the crossed legs suggest lust because in many movie posters they put the woman on the cover showing off her legs. In the right image, they are sitting in a pink leotard and holding donuts to her eyes. she’s wearing quite fun and exciting colours. This image shows gluttony.

In all of the YouTube videos, They are doing a photography shoot relating to the seven deadly sins topic. In the first video, They are shooting greed. They are using a prop which is gold pain to run down the models face while wearing a gold crown. They go through the progress of the shoot and how their shoot looked. The background is black so the gold really compliments the models skin. The next video is again focused on greed. They go through getting the model ready for the shoot, Makeup, costume and hair. She is wearing a money dress with light ashy makeup and fake studded diamonds on her face, They show the planning of the outfit that they have done before hand ready for the photoshoot. The last video uses gluttony. It shows a woman laying on a table with spaghetti all over her with people around her stuffing their faces. In the video, they also go through most of sins and take images of them. they show the preparation of getting the props and models ready.
